Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that the firing of rockets in the direction of Israel was self-defense. "We just attacked the regime's military centers and security services. This attack was self-defense, a legitimate defense based on the UN Charter."
Araghchi also assured. "We do not intend to continue if the Zionist regime does not continue its attacks. If Israel takes other actions against Iran, our actions will be tougher, and we will respond."
However, he insisted that Iran supports the ceasefire efforts.
