Boris Johnson spoke about the discovery of a wiretapping device after a meeting with Netanyahu

Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson says in his new book that security officers found a wiretapping device in the utility room of his official residence after Netanyahu used it in 2017, writes The Telegraph.

When asked by The Telegraph if Johnson could give details about what happened in 2017, he said that he described everything in the book.

"Everything you need to know about that episode is in the book," he said.

The publication also writes that it is not known whether the UK has addressed this issue to Israel.

The Telegraph also notes that around that time, Israel was accused of installing wiretapping devices in the White House.

Before entering politics, Boris Johnson already worked at The Telegraph. He was a correspondent in Brussels.
