Raphael Grossi, head of the EMEA, has arrived in Minsk, where he will meet with the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.
He will hold high-level meetings and visit the Belarusian NPP.
The IEA released a statement stating that Grossi and his team will assess the facility's condition nearly four years after it went online and assess progress in meeting the recommendations published in the 2021 IEA Operational Safety Review.
