On Tuesday night, the Syrian authorities announced the death of three people as a result of Israeli strikes in the direction of Damascus, including the death of a well-known TV presenter in the country, Safa Ahmed. BBC reports.
"The General Directorate of Radio and Television of Syria announces the death of presenter Safa Ahmed as a martyr after the insidious Israeli aggression against the country's capital, Damascus," the message said.
According to the Syrian Defense Ministry, the strikes were carried out by planes and drones from the Golan Heights.
According to the Syrian authorities, 9 people were injured. The Israeli military has not commented on the reports.
