The Israeli army has started the ground invasion of Lebanon. According to American sources, the action at the request of the US should be limited without long-term occupation of territories.
Israel wants to create a 20 km zone inside southern Lebanon as the first main target for the invasion. The Lebanese army retreated about 5 kilometers.
