As part of a program aimed at reducing customs procedures and speeding up cross-border travel, RA citizens traveling to Iran can now obtain Carnet de Passages or customs transit documents for their vehicles, allowing them to enter the country with minimal delay.
The project, launched via video conference on the second day of Iran's National Tourism Week, aims to simplify customs formalities and expand international road transport between Iran and neighboring countries.
It also aims to reduce the number of intermediaries, costs, and waiting time at the border and promote international road transport.
The project is expected to contribute to the development of Iran's tourism industry, strengthen ties with neighboring countries, and attract more tourists from Armenia and other countries.
