The Israel Defense Forces reported that a Hamas commander was killed in southern Syria

The Israel Defense Forces reports that the head of the Hamas network in southern Syria was killed in an airstrike at night.

According to the Times of Israel, Ahmed Muhammad Fahd was responsible for the attacks against troops and Israel, mainly by firing rockets into the Golan Heights.

"Fahd was killed when he was planning to carry out another terrorist attack shortly," the Israel Defense Forces announced.
