US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller announced that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken appreciated the progress in relations between Baku and Yerevan.
"Today, during the high-level week of the UN General Assembly in New York, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken had a tripartite meeting with the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov.
The Secretary of State highly appreciated Armenia and Azerbaijan's progress toward achieving a stable and dignified peace and called on the two countries to make further progress towards concluding the agreement as soon as possible.
The Secretary of State emphasized that the peace agreement will bring stability and prosperity to the region," Miller said.
