The White House issued a written statement about the meeting between US President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The meeting took place within the UN General Assembly sessions.
Biden emphasized that the USA's support for Ukraine will continue. Biden and Zelensky also discussed the joint declaration of more than 30 countries on Ukraine's recovery.
The Pentagon announced a new aid package of 375 million dollars to Ukraine on the same day. According to the Pentagon, many weapons will be sent to Kyiv, including tactical missiles, HIMARS missiles, 155- and 105-millimeter guns, and Javelin anti-tank systems.
