"We are ready to start negotiations on the nuclear deal." Borell to Aragchi

The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, met with Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi during the UN General Assembly.
Borell noted that the EU strongly condemns the recent transfer of ballistic missiles by Iran to Russia. "The EU considers that the supply of such weapons is a direct threat to European security," Borel said.
Speaking about the situation in the Middle East, Borel noted that immediate steps must be taken to avoid further escalation.
Borel emphasized the need to resume nuclear diplomacy. "We are ready to start negotiations on the nuclear deal," Borell said.
Both sides emphasized dialogue to solve geopolitical and bilateral problems.
