On October 17-18, the meeting of the heads of the NATO defense ministries will take place

NATO defense ministers will meet at the alliance headquarters in Brussels on October 17 and 18, the military alliance's press service stated.
"The Secretary General of NATO will chair the session," the message states.
The current secretary general of the alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, will finish his work in that position on October 1 and hand over control of the coalition to Mark Rutte.
