Armenia handed over the American wanted in Russia to the USA

Armenia handed over the American wanted in Russia to the USA. Before that, the American was forbidden to leave the territory of Armenia for three years. Eric Thomas Creamer was arrested in Moscow in April 2017 on charges of drug possession. He claimed that the police put drugs in his pocket.

Later, the US citizen was released with a non-departure bond. He could leave for his homeland, but an interstate search was announced for him.

In 2021, Creamer was arrested in Armenia, where he was going to rest. For a long time, the Armenian authorities could not decide what to do with the Americans. According to his lawyer, they did not hand over the arrested person to avoid spoiling relations with the USA.
