Christian Wagner, representative of the German Foreign Ministry stated that the EU countries are negotiating to limit the movement of Russian diplomats in the Schengen zone.
"At the moment, negotiations on this issue are underway at the European level," he said.
Earlier, the Politico newspaper, referring to the letter addressed to the EU's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borell, reported that the foreign ministers of 8 EU countries demanded to limit the movement of Russian diplomats in European countries within the framework of another package of sanctions against Russia.
