During the negotiations with the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in Rome, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni spoke to establish stable peace between Yerevan and Baku.
"The Prime Minister of Italy reaffirmed Rome's commitment to the stability and prosperity of the Caucasus region and support for the normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan to achieve lasting peace," the press service of the Italian Prime Minister said.
Meloni also noted the importance of EU-Azerbaijan cooperation.
