Members of the bipartisan Helsinki Commission, the leadership of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and other high-ranking members of Congress visited Armenia to see the fruits of the Helsinki policy with their own eyes.
The commission members noted Armenia's complex strategic situation, its democratic example in the region, and the socio-political consensus in favor of a European future.
This September 10 hearing in the US Senate outlines how the United States and Congress can support Armenia to continue its democratic path, ensure its sovereignty, establish peace, and regulate relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey.
