John Kirby, the representative of the White House Security Council, stated during the briefing that Russia has already moved its planes deep into the country, so they are outside the ATACMS strike zone.
When asked whether Washington's policy regarding long-range strikes against Russia has changed, Kirby noted that it has not.
"The US position on supporting Ukraine is unchanged. Washington is focused on strengthening Ukraine's air defense," said Kirby.
