US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said the USA shares the OSCE/ODIHR assessment of the parliamentary elections held in Azerbaijan.
"We share the OSCE/ODIHR mission assessments and concerns regarding the September 1 elections in Azerbaijan. We call on Azerbaijan to fulfill the OSCE's recommendations and ensure the population's fundamental freedoms by the country's constitution and its international obligations," said Miller.
