"The BRICS countries will consider Turkey's bid to join the union." Yuri Ushakov, assistant to the Russian president, told reporters.
"Turkey has applied for full membership. We will consider it," said Ushakov.
It should be noted that Bloomberg magazine, referring to its well-informed sources, wrote a few days ago that Turkey had sent an application for membership in the BRICS.
