An anonymous representative of the Mongolian government clarified in a conversation with the Politico newspaper why the country refuses to arrest Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to him, Mongolia imports 95% of its oil products and more than 20% of its electricity from neighboring countries, and these supplies play a crucial role in maintaining the country's existence.
In addition, he noted that Mongolia has always pursued a neutral policy in all diplomatic relations.
Earlier, Politico wrote that the International Criminal Court would not be able to punish Mongolia if the latter refused to arrest Vladimir Putin.
