Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated at the meeting with the Turkish Parliament delegation that Armenia is not interested in concluding a peace agreement.
"Armenia is consciously delaying time, buying new weapons from France, Western countries, and other countries, conducting military exercises in its territory with third countries," he said. According to Aliyev, Armenia is not interested in concluding a peace agreement and achieving lasting peace in the region.
He repeated the demand to change the RA constitution, saying. "Territorial claims against Azerbaijan set by the Armenian constitution must be abolished, and the constitution must be changed."
Aliyev referred to the existence of the OSCE Minsk Group, noting that Armenia's position regarding maintaining the Minsk Group needs to be clarified. According to him, if the conflict is over and the Prime Minister of Armenia announces support for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, what is the need for the existence of the Minsk Group, which has already lost its relevance? "The OSCE Minsk Group and its related institutions, which have already lost their relevance, should be completely abolished," he said.
