Ukrainian drones attacked the Russian cities of Saratov and Engels on Monday morning. Russian Telegram channels report. The airport in Engels, where TU-95 strategic bombers are located, was attacked. 11 of them were in the air at the time of impact.
The attack damaged a 38-story residential building in Saratov, a neighbor of Engels. The Baza Telegram channel published a video of a drone hitting a high-rise Volga Sky residential complex building.
The distance from the affected building to Engels Military Airport is 12 km. Saratov and Engels are opposite, on the Volga's right and left banks. In a straight line from the border with Ukraine, the distance between the cities is about 700 km.
