The head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell, stated that the situation in the Middle East has reached a hazardous level.
He says this applies to the region and the territories outside the area. Borrell emphasized that he supports the Lebanese authorities' call to "immediately implement UN Security Council Resolution 1701 in addition to the much-needed ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to avoid the possible risk of full-scale war."
