Those who voted against Azerbaijan's delegation to the PACE were included in the list of "undesirable persons." If these persons arrive in Azerbaijan before restoring our delegation's mandate in PACE, they will not be allowed to enter the country, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan press service, Aykhan Hajizada, said.
First of all, the views of Frank Schwabe, known for several corruption cases and shady business connections, about Azerbaijan and the country's leadership show how biased, false, and hypocritical a politician that person is. Frank Schwabe is well aware that the only reason for not inviting PACE observers to the Milli Mejlis election observation mission is that the mandate of the Azerbaijani delegation still needs to be restored, despite the political promises given to our country, including by German officials.
Regarding Schwabe's intention to visit our country within the framework of COP29, we note that those who voted against the delegation of Azerbaijan to the PACE were included in the list of "undesirable persons." If these persons arrive in Azerbaijan before the restoration of the mandate of our delegation in PACE, they will not be allowed to enter the country. Azerbaijan is committed to the obligations undertaken at the international level and understands these obligations well. At the same time, we emphasize that the application of these obligations is only based on one-sided and double standards; their abuse and the application of biased approaches to our country are unacceptable," the statement said.
