Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the destruction of thousands of short-range rockets and all drones of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement that were fired at a strategic target in central Israel on Sunday.
Netanyahu emphasized that Hezbollah tried to attack Israel with rockets and drones on Sunday morning, and that is why the army was ordered to "launch a powerful preemptive strike to eliminate the threat."
"The Israel Defense Forces have destroyed thousands of short-range missiles, all of which were intended to harm our citizens and our forces. The Israel Defense Forces intercepted all drones that Hezbollah launched against a strategic target in the center of the country. This is another step to change the situation, and it is not the end," Netanyahu said.
