The advancement of Ukraine's armed forces has dealt a severe blow to Putin's narratives

Josep Borell, the supreme representative of the European Union's foreign and security policy, wrote on his X page that the advancement of Ukraine's armed forces in the Kursk region has dealt a serious blow to Putin's narratives.
"The lifting of restrictions on the use of forces and means against the Russian military will have important consequences," he wrote.
Among those effects, Borrell cited strengthening Ukraine's self-defense, particularly against Russian bombing of infrastructure, reducing destruction and death among Ukrainians, and boosting peace efforts.
