Ukraine has ratified the Rome Statute

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ratified the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court and its amendments. Deputy Yaroslav Zhelezniak informed about this. He noted that 281 People's Deputies voted in favor of the bill.

Let's emphasize that the bill submitted by Zelensky to the Rada stipulates that within seven years after its ratification, the country will not recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court over Ukrainians in the commission of crimes under Article 8 of the Rome Statute.
