US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin has ordered a guided missile submarine to be deployed in the Middle East despite growing regional tensions. The Pentagon's statement is exceptional because it refers to submarine movement.
In a statement, the Pentagon added that Austin also ordered the Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier strike group to accelerate its regional deployment.
