The EU Council has approved 4.2 billion euros in aid to Kyiv

The Council of the EU approved the decision previously agreed by the ambassadors of the EU to allocate about 4.2 billion euros to Kyiv from the Ukraine Support Fund. The Hungarian Presidency of the Council announced this.

The Ukraine Support Fund is a €50 billion program to finance Kyiv's current budget spending until the end of 2027. In return for the payments, Kiev implements the reforms and transformations that the European Commission insists on.
