The killing of Haniya will not contribute to the ceasefire negotiations. Biden

US President Joe Biden commented on the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.

"The killing of the leader of Hamas did not contribute to the effort to reach an agreement on a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip," Biden said during a speech at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland.

Biden also said he spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday.
