US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has announced that the political forces of Venezuela should begin the transfer of power in connection with the election of Nicolás Maduro as president of Venezuela.
"The evidence shows that Edmundo González Urrutia, the opposition candidate, received the most votes in the elections.
It is time for the political forces of Venezuela to start a peaceful and legal transfer of power," Blinken stated.
