The US Treasury Department has sanctioned five individuals and seven companies based in Iran, China, and Hong Kong for their involvement in Iran's ballistic missile and drone program. According to the US Treasury Department, these companies buy or produce various components for the Iranian Defense Ministry.
The Iranian-made missiles and drones are then shipped to the Middle East and Russia, the report said.
