The White House has announced US attempts to stop attacks on the Lebanese border

After the July 27 rocket attack on the Golani village of Majdal Shams, the Washington administration assured that it was seeking a diplomatic solution that would stop the attacks in the Israel-Lebanon border area:
"Our support for Israel is unwavering against all threats fueled by Iran, including Hezbollah; the US is also working on a diplomatic solution along the Blue Line (the border between Lebanon and Israel)":
