All flights on several major US airlines, including Delta, United and American Airlines, were grounded Friday morning due to connectivity issues. The US Federal Aviation Administration announced this.
It is unclear how long the outage will last. The outage was caused by a Microsoft software bug. The company said service was down for some customers in the central US around 6 p.m. "including issues with service management operations and connectivity or service availability."
The company said it has identified the cause and is working to fix it.
