The Razumkov Center study, published on Monday, July 15, found that 44% of Ukrainians believe that the time has come to start peace negotiations with Russia. 35% of the respondents opposed it, and 21% found it difficult to answer.
49% of the residents of the country's central regions will calmly accept the start of official peace negotiations with Russia. This indicator is significantly lower in the western part of Ukraine - only 35%. In the east of the country, only 33% of respondents want to negotiate, and 34% are against it. Almost a third of respondents there were undecided.
For 51.5% of the survey participants, Ukraine's return to the 1991 borders is the minimum condition for achieving peace with Russia. 26% of the respondents will agree with withdrawing Russian troops from the positions occupied by the beginning of 2022.
