The Pentagon's press service reports that US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin spoke with his Russian counterpart, Andrey Belousov, on the telephone.
Austin emphasized the importance of maintaining communication channels. This is the second telephone conversation between the heads of the two ministries in the last month.
