Turkey will continue mediation efforts

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the course of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in Washington and regional and global issues.

Erdogan said that Turkey continues to make efforts so that the war between Ukraine and Russia ends with a just peace, and efforts are being made in that direction. According to him, Turkey is ready for any initiative, including mediation, to create a basis for peace.

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, National Defense Minister Yasar Güler, Head of the National Intelligence Organization Ibrahim Kalin, and Presidential Adviser on Foreign Policy and Security Akif Çağatay Kılıç participated in the meeting.
