"Armenia and Azerbaijan are very close to reaching a final agreement." US Secretary of State

In the last year and a half, Armenia and Azerbaijan have done very important work in pursuing negotiations and concluding a peace agreement, stated US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken during a tripartite meeting with Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeihun Bayramov.

According to him, this agreement will open unique opportunities for the two countries, the region, and their relations with the United States.

"Throughout this process, the United States and many European and European partners have sought to help and support. Both countries are very close to reaching a final agreement that the United States will strongly support.

Thank you very much for today's meeting. We can assess what more the United States can do to help you reach an agreement," Blinken said.
