The director of US National Intelligence, Avril Haynes, announced that Iran is secretly trying to incite protests in the US related to the Gaza conflict. "I want to be clear that the Americans participating in the protests are expressing their views on the Gaza conflict in good faith," Haynes said.
"Americans targeted by this Iranian campaign may not be aware that they are dealing with or receiving support from a foreign government. We urge all Americans to remain vigilant as they interact online with accounts and actors they do not know personally," he said.
