Deputy Spokesman of the US Secretary of State Patel referred to Armenian-Azerbaijani relations and, in this context, invited the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan to the NATO summit.
"Once again, in the broad context of the problem in the South Caucasus, this is a priority for us. And a priority for the Secretary of State himself and other Department officials. I doubt that we will continue to work towards [regulating relations between the two countries]. As for specific meetings within the summit's framework, I don't want to discuss the schedule yet."
