The US special representative for Afghanistan, Thomas West, had several meetings with the representatives of the radical movement "Taliban" in Doha.
Vedant Patel, the deputy head of the press service of the US State Department, informed the journalists about it. Patel clarified that the issue of Americans arrested in Afghanistan was also raised during the meetings.
