A Kazakh opposition journalist was killed in Kyiv

Kazakh opposition journalist Aydos Sadikov died in Kyiv. His wife Natalya Sadikova informed about this on her Facebook page. The author of "Base" TV channel died in a hospital in Kyiv.

"Aidos fought for thirteen days to live in the intensive care unit, but no miracle happened," the woman wrote. Let's remind you that Sadikov was shot on June 18, next to his house in Kyiv. Later, the suspect in the assassination attempt voluntarily presented himself to the Kazakh police.

The journalist's wife accuses the Kazakh authorities of the crime. Speaker of the Kazakh Senate Ashimbaev called any accusation against Kazakhstan a slander and provocation. He stated that the country would not hand over the suspect to Ukraine.
