"We have expressed our concern, and you will see it." Blinken to Georgia

"We and many other countries have not only expressed concern about the adoption of the law, but we have also taken proactive measures to express that concern; I think you will see more," said US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, referring to the 'Foreign Influence Transparency Act' passed in Georgia.

Blinken participated in the discussion of US foreign policy at the Brookings Institution. During the debate, the US Secretary of State was asked questions about Georgia, particularly the upcoming parliamentary elections, the law on foreign influence transparency, and the South Caucasus. Blinken was asked what the US view is about the interests of global powers in the region.
