US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken stated that there is a unique opportunity to conclude a peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"Together with the EU, we also achieved success diplomatically, trying to bring the two countries closer to the peace treaty, which will end the decades-long conflict and, I think, will create huge opportunities in the region for economic ties, economic growth, and the establishment of ties between eastern countries," said Blinken.
The Secretary of State added that, in his opinion, it is feasible and fully corresponds to the interests of the peoples of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the entire region.
