President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev accepted the credentials of the newly appointed ambassador of Canada, Kevin Hamilton, and referred to the Armenia-Azerbaijan settlement process and peace negotiations.
Aliyev said that he sees better results with Armenia at the bilateral level, and there is no interference in the process. "We can finish the work on the text of the peace treaty with Armenia, at least with its main principles, in a few months. The main condition of the peace agreement is the amendment of the Armenian constitution. The absence of a peace treaty cannot be a factor in determining the level of activity of any country in the region," Aliyev added.
