The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Israel, Jeyhun Bayramov and Israel Katz, had a telephone conversation. The parties discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between the two countries, international and regional issues, and the situation around Gaza.
Bayramov emphasized the importance of achieving a ceasefire in Gaza in a short period, preventing the persecution of civilians on both sides and the peaceful settlement of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
The parties also discussed the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan and exchanged thoughts on other issues of mutual interest.
