The Polish Armed Forces announced that according to the contract signed in January 2023, Poland received the last batch of M1A1 Abrams tanks from the USA.
In January 2023, the Polish Ministry of Defense bought 116 M1A1 Abrams tanks from the United States. In addition, in 2022, the Polish authorities signed an agreement with the American side on the supply of 250 modernized M1A2 Abrams tanks in 2025-2026.
