"Georgia is our partner and will be invited to the upcoming NATO partnership events," said Jim O'Brien, US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs. Washington is deeply concerned about the decisions and rhetoric of a small group of "Georgian Dream" leaders.
"It is obvious that 80-85% of the population of Georgia wants further integration into the European Union and NATO. Recently, the Prime Minister said they expect their latest actions will not endanger that road. We will continue these conversations even before they go to the NATO summit. All NATO partners are invited to partner events," O'Brien said.
