Hamas issued a statement welcoming the move of the Republic of Armenia to recognize the state of Palestine.
"We consider this as another important step towards the recognition of the rights of the Palestinian people by the international community," the statement said.
Hamas has again called on other countries of the world to take similar steps in support of the struggle of the Palestinian people against the Israeli regime.
