"We do not consider France's policy towards the South Caucasus effective. It is a harmful policy," Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to the president of Azerbaijan and head of the foreign policy department of the president's office, announced.
"This is a blow to regulating relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia. The policy of French militarization is a step that will encourage revanchist forces in Armenia. The supply of lethal weapons to Armenia is very worrying. As a member of the UN Security Council, France must conduct a responsible policy. Armenia is a country that has carried out occupation and aggression in the South Caucasus. Arming such a country is unacceptable," Hajiyev said.
