The South Korean Hyundai Rotem Corporation plans to conclude an additional agreement with Poland on the supply of new batches of K2 tanks, Seok Jung-gun, head of the Korean Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA), announced.
In July 2022, Poland and South Korea signed a framework agreement to supply about 1,000 K2 tanks manufactured by Hyundai Rotem Corporation. In August of the same year, a contract worth more than 3 billion dollars was signed, under which Hyundai Rotem committed to supply the first 180 tanks to Poland.
